How can I place an order.....?
If you would like to place an order, please either click here, email info@thefairycakemother.co.uk or telephone 07549 960176. I try to respond to emails within a couple of hours. If I cannot get to the phone please leave a message and I WILL call you back.
How much notice do I need to give.....?
The amount of notice needed really does depend upon the type of cake that you wish to order and the number of other cakes booked for the date that you require your cake. Once you are interested in ordering a cake the best thing to do is to contact me to confirm availability....
Do I need to pay a deposit.....?
A 30% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
For Wedding Cakes , the balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the wedding day. For all other cakes the balance can be paid upon collection / delivery
How can I pay.....?
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or direct bank transfer. In order to keep the prices as low as possible there is a 3% fee for all payments made by credit card.
Credit card, cheque and bank transfers must be cleared before collection / delivery.
Do you deliver.....?
I am based in Woodley, Reading and can deliver to surrounding areas for an additional charge. The cost of this is dependent upon location and is calculated mainly upon distance. Some cakes can be sent via a fragile goods courier. Please contact me for details.
Do you hire stands.....?
Yes, we have several stands that are available for hire. Unless otherwise stated stand hire costs £12.50 for a 3 day hire. A refundable deposit of £75 is required for each stand hired.
Can I make an appointment to see you.....?
Yes, consultations are by appointment only and can be arranged at a convenient time to suit you.
Are there any hidden costs.....?
I try to make the website as transparent as possible and offer a fair pricing policy. In order to keep the prices as low as possible the following items are not included in the prices displayed :-
